Immunization Clinic

COMCARE’s Immunization clinic is located at our StatCare location. The clinic is for COMCARE patients and is by appointment only.  We ask that you call your physician’s office to coordinate the immunization appointment.  In addition to the childhood immunizations, we also offer adult immunizations including TDaP, Hepatitis A & B, Shingles, Menigicoccal, Pneumococcal and HPV and Influenza.

School Requirements

The State of Kansas requires at least 5 doses of DTaP with a booster dose of TDaP at age 11.  At least 4 doses of Polio, 2 doses of MMR, 2 doses of Varicella, and 3 doses of Hepatitis B are required prior to school entry.  The appropriate dosing is required for each dose to count.  Hepatitis A, Haemophilus Influenzae (HIB) and Pneumococcal are required for children under 5 years in preschool or childcare operated by a school.  Meningococcal, HPV and influenza are recommended.
